I'm Roope — a multidisciplinary creative based in Helsinki. I design digital products, and inclusive experiences, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and visual craft. AI is part of my everyday toolkit, sharpening the process without replacing intentional decisions.

Off-screen, I make music, DJ, and run a monthly radio show on IDA radio.

Human-centered
Every design decision starts with understanding real people — their needs, frustrations, and aspirations. Technology should adapt to humans, not the other way around.
Accessible
Great design is inclusive by default. Building with accessibility in mind isn't a constraint — it's a commitment to crafting experiences that work for everyone.
Minimal
Complexity is easy; simplicity is hard. Stripping away the unnecessary to reveal what truly matters — that's where the craft lives.

Selected clients

  • Replacing static design handoffs with functional html prototypes built on a shared design system. Embedding accessibility from day one, and scaling the component library across teams — cutting development time, and eliminating back-and-forth from ambiguous specs.

  • Creating a seamless experience for film professionals to browse equipments, build wishlists, and request quotes on Angel Films website.

  • Campaign aiming to inspire diverse individuals to explore entrepreneurship by showcasing role model stories through a visually engaging website and social media.
