Brand and platform from the ground up

SKENARIO is a platform for live streaming and archiving DJ performances focused on non-mainstream music. I built the brand identity and website from scratch — a clean, intuitive design that prioritizes user experience and seamless live streaming. With a small team, I delivered a brand book, a mobile-first site, and an MVP centered on immediate access to live broadcasts. The work strengthened iteration, user testing, and UX/UI skills and deepened my drive to build meaningful digital experiences.

Stand out in a crowded streaming market

The goal was to create SKENARIO — an online music broadcasting platform for live and archived DJ performances for fans of non-mainstream music and DJ culture. The platform needed a distinct brand and a user-friendly site to differentiate from generic streaming services.

With only one or two live shows per month at launch, the MVP had to deliver live streaming flawlessly first.

The project required:

  1. Designing the brand identity from scratch.
  2. Developing the website to provide a strong user experience and encourage repeat visits.
  3. Iterating quickly while no live content was available during development.

Research, brand, and build

The project began with research and benchmarking — brand books, concept manuals, and live-streaming references such as Boiler Room.

Team and concept

  • Team setup: Two collaborators joined — one for logo design and one for visual elements.
  • Name and visuals: After brainstorming, I finalized the name SKENARIO and worked with the team on typography, color, and shape. Key directions from our strongest ideas became the foundation of the identity.

Brand book and wireframes

  • I wrote the brand book covering SKENARIO's identity, tone, and design guidelines.
  • I defined the information architecture for intuitive navigation and clear content structure.
  • I started wireframes on paper, then built prototypes in Adobe XD with a focus on simplicity and usability.

Prototyping and user testing

  • The first prototype was tested with three users; feedback drove iteration before development.

Website development

  • I built the site with HTML5, CSS (Grid and Flexbox), and JavaScript — no frameworks — to keep layout and behavior precise.
  • Mobile-first responsive design across breakpoints.
  • The live stream sat at the center of the homepage so viewers could start watching in one click.

Brand book and working prototype

The project delivered a full brand book and a functional HTML prototype — minimal, easy to use, and built around live streaming as the MVP. Highlights:

  • A cohesive logo and visual identity.
  • A clear interface with live streaming as the focal point.
  • Design that removes noise and prioritizes clarity.

The platform had not aired its first live show at handoff, but the foundation supports future content, with user testing and iteration ready for rapid updates.
